When you meet Alfred Eliasson, it’s clear that he enjoys his role as a production engineer at Axjo. At just 24 years old, he has already built up both valuable experience and a solid place within the team.

His journey really began back in high school, where he studied technology with a focus on production engineering. The interest in understanding and improving processes started early, and when a friend tipped him off about a position at Axjo, the pieces fell into place.

“I started my journey here through Axjo Academy in 2022. For a year I got to combine practical and theoretical learning, which was the perfect foundation for stepping into the role,” Alfred explains.

Today, Alfred is part of the production engineering department, a team that plays a crucial role in Axjo’s operations. Their mission is to continuously refine and improve production processes, as well as to lead and drive development projects in new areas forward. From developing new methods and implementing improvements on the factory floor to solving technical challenges, the department acts as a bridge between design, production, and continuous development.

“The production engineering department is a place where no two days are alike. One day the focus might be on implementing new equipment, the next on ensuring contact with suppliers to meet various deadlines. This constant variety is what makes the work so rewarding.”

Now, three years into his time at Axjo, it’s precisely this variety that makes Alfred thrive. Each day brings new challenges, problem-solving opportunities, and chances to grow.

“The best part of the job is that it never gets repetitive. There’s always something new happening,” he says with a smile.

Despite being relatively early in his career, Alfred has a valuable piece of advice for new colleagues: don’t be afraid to ask for help.

“My best tip is to ask questions. There are so many knowledgeable colleagues here who are happy to share their expertise, so you never need to feel like you’re on your own.”

With dedication, curiosity, and a drive to keep learning, Alfred continues to leave his mark on production engineering at Axjo, and together with his colleagues in the department, he helps shape the future of efficient and sustainable production.
