Axjo Group Acquires Eco-Tourets to Strengthen Their Presence in France

Axjo Group, a leading provider of recycled polymer packaging solutions, has acquired the French company Eco-Tourets, strengthening its presence in the French market and bringing the Group even closer to its customers. Through the acquisition, Eco-Tourets site in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, south-east of Paris, will initially serve as a local logistics and sales hub for Axjo Group, supporting faster deliveries, closer customer collaboration, and continued growth in France.

The acquisition is part of Axjo Group’s ambition to strengthen its local presence across Europe. Earlier this year, Axjo Group established Axjo GmbH in Cologne, Germany, and is now taking the next step by expanding further into France.

Eco-Tourets and Axjo Group share the same ambition: to provide the French market with sustainable packaging solutions supported by an efficient return system that enables reuse and helps close the loop.

-We believe strong local hubs are essential to providing the best possible service. France is a key market for us, and this acquisition strengthens our local presence and creates new opportunities for growth. Maxime’s entrepreneurial mindset and market expertise make him a great fit with Axjo Group,” says Jacob Nilsson, CEO of Axjo Group.

Eco-Tourets was founded by Maxime Peyronny and developed into a business focused on more sustainable solutions for the wire and cable industry. His industry knowledge, entrepreneurial mindset, and focus on data and research were important factors behind the acquisition. Maxime will remain with the company and take responsibility for the local management and continued development of Axjo Group’s presence in France.

-My goal with Eco-Tourets has always been to scale the business and provide the French
market with more sustainable alternatives. When Axjo and I started our dialogue, it quickly became clear that this was the right way forward. Axjo’s scalability, combined with my local network and market expertise, makes this a strong match,” says Maxime Peyronny, President of Eco-Tourets.

Looking ahead, Axjo Group plans to build on this platform by establishing additional hubs and investing in local production, creating a stronger, more efficient and more circular supply network across France.
